How Qatra works
- Someone posts a request Blood group, how many units, and which hospital.
- We alert the closest matching donors Only donors who are compatible, eligible to donate today, and nearby — starting with the closest and widening automatically if nobody responds.
- A donor accepts in one tap The requester sees live progress the whole time, so nobody is left wondering.
- They coordinate in the app In-app chat and calling, so neither person has to share their phone number.
- The donation happens at a licensed centre Always at a licensed hospital or blood bank, where the blood is properly screened and handled.
What Qatra is not
Qatra is not a hospital, a blood bank, or a medical service. We do not collect, test, store, or supply blood, and we do not give medical advice. We help people find each other — everything clinical happens at a licensed centre, where every donation is screened as the law requires.

Blood is a gift, never a transaction
Buying or selling blood is a criminal offence in Pakistan. Qatra will never facilitate payment for blood, in any form — not money, not gifts, not "transport fees".
If anyone asks you for money for blood, refuse and report them in the app. We ban those accounts permanently, on the first occurrence, without warning.
Your privacy
We collect only what matching actually requires, and we never sell your data. Your phone number stays hidden by default — in-app calling means you can coordinate a donation without giving out your number. Location is used only while you have the app open, never in the background.
