Support Qatra

Qatra is fee sabilillah — free, for the sake of Allah. We never charge a patient, never pay a donor, and never buy or sell blood. Running it still costs money — but we are not accepting donations yet.

Giving money is completely separate from giving blood. A donation will never move a patient up a queue, never gets a donor paid, and never buys blood. If anyone tells you otherwise, report them.

Where your money goes

  • Keeping Qatra running — servers, SMS and WhatsApp alerts, and the maps that find a patient's nearest donor. Every alert we send costs us a few paisa, and an emergency can mean dozens of them.
  • Helping patients who can't pay — screening and processing fees at licensed centres, for families who cannot cover them.
  • Platelets, later — platelet units cost far more than whole blood and are often out of reach for thalassemia and cancer patients. We want to help fund them.

Donations aren't open yet

We are not currently accepting money. Qatra has no donation account open yet, so if anyone asks you to send money "for Qatra" — to a wallet, a bank account, or in person — it is not us. Please report it.

When we do open donations, this page will accept JazzCash, EasyPaisa, debit and credit cards, and bank transfer, and every account detail will be published right here so you can check it before you send anything.

Would rather give blood?

That is worth more to us than money. Install Qatra, set your blood group, and stay available — you will only ever be alerted when someone near you needs your group.
